This is the class film done in my animation workshop class. In January, instead of each of us beginning to do our own individual short films, we decided it would be cool to all work together on one. Doing a class film was a great decision because, I believe, it taught us a lot like, how the animation business works. Instead of relying on ourselves, we relied on each other and for me, that really made myself work harder. Including my teacher, Howard Beckerman, I didn't want to disappoint him or my classmates. If one of us didn't "deliver" each of our assigned jobs, the film would have never got completed. It was also nice to come together and give each other advice and/or help each other if there were problems. For my own opinion, it was a great route to go because I learned so much more about making an animated film and everything that goes into creating one. It was all in all a good experience. I may not have my own film, but I have a lot more knowledge on Animation.
I animated, Szkitter (the mouse) in four scenes, 1:11-1:21
And just to clarify, the video was uploaded to Youtube by one of the students
Concept is a pizza man making a pizza and when finished, it falls to the ground after he throws it up in the air. Since I had just learned some After Effects tools, it's not good but it was fun putting it together. Song: "That's Amore" by Dean Martin
Hello there! I'm going to keep this post somewhat short. I started off my first blog on Tumblr, but it has become more of an inspirational blog, rather than a place to post my work. I'll put a link to that for whoever wants to see what I like and find inspiring. I'm an Animation student and just finished (or should I say almost finished) my junior year. Next year will be my most important year at art school... Thesis year. Although I feel like I'm just getting the hang of animation, I'm eager to work hard and produce a great short film. So here's the place where I'll post some of the work I've done. I'll also post future work as time goes by. Stay tuned!
